Lots of 89s and 90s from Rodon in that inning is scary stuff.

Just hoping now that Cesar lights it up in the playoffs.

Given our current roster construction, can we do worse than Cesar Hernandez? Dude is awful

If Rodon can only hold his velo for ~2 innings, the Sox are going to regret not building Kopech at all in the second half

He should have been benched on Thursday vs the Angels for not covering 2b on the double play. There is no reason for him to be an every day guy at this point, even with all the injuries.

If we gave them Kade McClure, do you suppose Cleveland would take Hernandez back?

Detroit didn't hit a single ball over 92 MPH that inning and got 3 runs. Carlos might have been bad but Hernandez allowed that inning to get as bad as it did. 

Rodon didn’t look great after that last pitch.  The 89mph “blew-by-you.”

At this point you can't depend on him for more than 3 or 4 innings. You have to pair him with a long reliever after.

Two of those hits were very lucky.

When we got Cesar he had as many homers as Jose. He now has 8 less homers than Jose.
