  • Tigers are probably the better team right now, and their Manager is definitely better.  Fry in there late with game on the line is nuts.

They are currently doing mass Rock/Paper/Scissors to see who wakes up Tony.

Problem #1, listening to the Score.

how is he behind 89....

Eloy fouling back hittable fastballs.

Slow bat for Eloy

Because he’s in a slump.

He had no shot of barreling up 90 mph

bad

Better at-bat for Eloy, but they're gonna keep pitching around anyone in front of him until he starts doing damage again.

Eloy can't catch up to back to back 90 mph meatballs center cut, I'll go back to work now.

Can’t believe this team played better in the first half with half their starters injured.

Both these teams look like they would rather be doing anything else but playing this game today.

They also had insane BABIP luck the first few months.  Their ground ball approach has caught up with them.

If Keuchel is back out there I'm shutting this shit off....

Well at least the narrative of "we haven't had our big 6 hitters play together so that's why we can't score" can stop. Just missing one of the 6 doesn't mean the offense goes from scoring 11 runs to scoring 2.

That's what I'm watching it on.

Hmmm.  I’m on Hulu and all I can get on it is “School of Golf.”

It seems like we’re just running into bad luck. We get one or two outs right away in the inning and than get two or three men on but can’t get them in because the batter is in a slump.

That's on the plus channel. I don't have Hulu but I'd imagine you have both the regular and plus channel.

Announced attendance 128

And that includes both teams.

How’s that bad luck?  There are just too many holes in the lineup right now, and Eloy batting behind Bonds is hurting big time.

Not sure if stats back me up on this but it feels like the Sox lose the majority of these type of games.

We win when we jump on the opposition early and often.

Feels like if we gain a small lead, surrender it, then we just end up going cold the rest of the game and giving up a late run to lose.

33-27 post ASB

Tigers about to go to 35-27 post ASB.  Mize pitches tomorrow vs Lopez.

Would make sense given how they’ve been outscored from the 7th-9th this year.

Dallas getting some weak grounders now

Mize is only going 3-4 innings I believe.  But I’ve yet to hear anyone think the game is played.

If we don't hit the starter we just don't hit at all basically.
