11 hits in 5 innings is nowhere near “good”.

It is if they don't score.

  • Tigers are probably the better team right now, and their Manager is definitely better.  Fry in there late with game on the line is nuts.

They are currently doing mass Rock/Paper/Scissors to see who wakes up Tony.

Problem #1, listening to the Score.

Mighty bold of you all to assume that the Sox wouldn't have stranded the runner at 2nd without the bunt.

Does Menechino teach these guys to just hit a simple flyball to the outfield for a sacrifice fly? Enough is enough already.

Maybe LaRussa wants to duplicate 2006 and win as little regular season games as he can.

Well now they'll just strand him on 3rd. Big difference.

We might not even win 90 games if we keep playing like this.

Pathetic

Might as well hope for the WP offense with the way these guys are going.

We watching the same game?

Is anything I said disputable?  It's the best he's looked since that start against Oakland at home.  Nowhere did I say he pitched great or even that good.  Serviceable.

Just terrible.

Booooooo! Pathetic!

If you ever wanted a groundball, no team is better than this one historically IMO.

Tigers tried to gift us a run and we decided we didn't want it.

Menechino can go this offseason

I’ll take having 3 chances instead of 2.

Which human white flag will give this one away today?

Maybe they need to fire Menechino in the offseason and hire a new hitting coach that can teach these guys to hit a flyball to the outfield with a runner on 3rd with one out.

The last time Jace pitched against the Tigers he gave up a 3 run homer.

As much as I think he doesn't help, this is an aggressive team top to bottom that too often swings at pitchers pitches. Grandal and Moncada are the only regulars that work counts.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he's the sacrificial lamb.  Not that I believe TLR sees anything wrong with any of their performances.

Especially when the bunt is setting up Adam Engel, who just came off the IL, into a position where he has to hit a fly ball.

On a scale of 1-10 how concerned are we with Eloy

Hes 10 for 55 with no homers in September.
