Honest question, is he truly any better than Mendick or Garcia starting at 2B?

TA, Yoan and Leury are all very good infielders, but they've all had this recent weird problem of not being able to get the ball out of their gloves to throw to first and it's cost the Sox several outs.

There's seemingly no chemistry between the SS and 2B right now. A lot of that is probably Cesar being late covering 2B. 

offense defense doesn't matter, these guys are straight ASS ? I feel bad for people who actually paid to watch this team lately

Initially thought the same, but the replay shows the runner was already 3/4 to 2nd. 

Gotta know where you are going with the ball right away.  Know your base runners, know the lead taken from 1st.

Not saying that was neccesarily the case on that play, but Cesar has been really bad at covering 2B on numerous occasions this year.

Lately Garcia has been the top choice based on performance. Even though he had an error yesterday and has begun looking lost again at the dish.
