Seems like another White Sox outspent excuse. Also, I don't see 4/180 coming in. I'd guess he's got about 3/120 on the table right now.

4 or 5 year deal rumored now

Definitely felt like a ranger signing. Fun park switch. Surprised cubs didn’t go after him.

Trade for pitching, trade for Segura, sign a RF and a backup catcher

Are we pivoting to a bottom of the rotation guy, because TOR starters don't just grow on trees in the trade market. And Segura doesn't help the Sox power outage against RH pitchers.

I mean, ok they can do these things. Coupled with the likely loss of Carlos Rodon, I would say the team will of taken a step back in 2022 compared to the 2021 team. I think some of us thought this was the off-season where the Sox would go for the throat.

Fathom, I’m sorry but it is your fault somebody else said something.

Who said it was his fault?

Who knew this would be the off-season where bmags stans for not spending money and not acquiring good players. Exciting stuff!

Cubs will get Rodon, IMO

Misread this, guess it’s not done.

I never said I like this plan.  Would rather have Adam Frazier than Segura.

I thought they were gonna be a LOT more active.

Just kind of funny everyone wants a major move and then given the Sox history, it’s likely that player underperforms and we all despise him. Conforto is definitely someone that many would easily hate.

Whoa there. The Sox don't have a history of major free agent splashes. Well there's Albert Belle - who absolutely performed to his contract. Carlton Fisk too. Man we have to reach too damn far back.

Kimbrel for Segura would be a clear FO fail.  Lazy, bad planning, bad judgement, just everything.

I want certain things I’m just not belligerent about them. I also clearly believe more than most in some of the pieces on this team.

They will be, as it seems they were in contention for Matz and Heaney.  Wouldn’t rule them out on Seager.

He would fit in great with the rest of the infielders who don’t hustle

Toronto signing someone else isn't a bad thing

That’s because a lot of Sox fans are morons.

I don’t buy any of the Mets/Scherzer stuff.  The delivery of all the writers is odd.

It is crazy how good Mark Shapiro is. Looked like they were in for a long one after that Bautista core. Amazing drafting and Intl.

I'm saying that if the Mets were going to outspend everybody on Gausman, why not on Robbie Ray too?

Especially if they offered Gausman more
