Molson Coors new Sox domestic beer partner

They've got partnerships with about as many "craft" brands as inbev which is what was in the ballpark before.

Lienenkugel likely replaces the fake non-craft goose island. They're both fake.

That said the difference between their partnerships isn't that much different than inbev.inevitable.

Molson has a ton of 3rd party partnerships.

Every time I see Leinenkugel mentioned I think of being in fishing boats in Wisconsin and seeing the signs promoting Leinenkugel being stuck in the bogs.  I think it sold for $0.35 instead of $0.40 for the big-name brands like Schlitz & Hamms.

From a marketing perspective those are all a step back.  The varied options was always a big selling point to me.    I liked the Corona on tap but not a big Modelo fan for the seats.

  • One thing is man could we please get coke instead of pepsi? I don't understand why they hate their fans so much.

I just hope they still have Modelo conveniently located all over the park. The Modelo draft is hard to beat.

Hamms is a Molson Coors brand. Maybe they will sell drafts.

As recently as 2008 I could get 5/$6 at my go-to shitty college bar.

It appears we DID get coke, and I am happy about that.

I love the selection I can find in my fridge and since most of my Sox viewing will be from my couch, I guess it doesn't matter too much.

I'm afraid we will have to part ways with that analysis.....

Not gonna lie, I hate this. If Rev is gone this absolutely blows.

Agree, between Miller Lite and Coors Light, I might as well hit the drinking fountain for the same watery taste.

Bought some Hamms recently and it's actually not bad.  Land of Sky Blue Waters.

It was in crains this morning...

Revolution = Vizzy View Bar now

Kraft Kave = Leinie's Lounge (Lodge**) now

Miller Lite Landing = RF seats

Modelo is still around. They still have their deal with Constellation Brands as official imported beer partner. Also legally, Sox cant agree to an exclusive serving rights, so you'll still be able to find offerings around the park (likely) just not as easily.

This is a big thing for me not because I ordered from there (I'm a normie man excited about Miller lite for the aluminum bottles presumably now sold to me with walking vendors???) but because even though I understood that they were using the alliterative "K" for it's relationship to the strikeout symbol, it all felt a little too "Karz 4 Kidz" to me.

Though the thing is, it's not a lodge.

I refuse to donate CARS  because of that jingle.

Went to the American lung association instead.

Surprised given everything else going on but I guess it's too popular. Good.

Given that the area wasn't really driven by their previous vendor this was my expectation.

Coffee used to suck in America too. Today I can buy a buy a bag of Dunkin' beans and drink java with the best of 'em. Well, maybe not at the Sumatra/Kona etc level, but pretty damn good.

Domestic brands are my last resort so it matters little to me.  I’ll grab a craft on tap or a  Modelo and be happy.
