  • disagree.  he's very good but his stats aren't any better (or as good) than several other cf'rs.    he's not the five tool guy many claim he is.  strong arm but not accurate, glove is shaky at times.

Welp, time to see if Liam can sink or swim with a 1 run lead.

he isn’t exactly facing a murderer‘s row. Let‘s hope he can find it tonight.

I don't get what they mean by saying not enough black players in the majors, yeah maybe not African Americans but Luis Robert, Randy Arozarena, Eloy Jimenez, Leury Garcia etc., aren't black? Terrible announcers

Abreu hit that at 105, 23 launch angle. A little bit more under it and it's gone.

today was  a sox display of warning track power.

No room for error tonight Liam….lock em down

ball just isnt flying anywhere

Abreu looks like a shell BUT he always does early.

Hold em and I see them at the park tomorrow

Going with my fam tomorrow

We've had so many warning track shots today.

We’re running into some bad luck. Those balls are either gone or for extra bases when it’s warm out.

To be fair though, I don’t think anyone hated the Graveman signing. I may be wrong, I just don’t remember anyone being overly vocal about it.

now Velasquez? Absolutely, tons hated it.

Most if the comments were against his 3 year contract and the overall money in the bullpen of which he was the biggest contract.

Velasquez was a minimal singing at 4 million I think

To be honest, he really hasn't all year. He's been getting hurt by some mediocre players.

Liam literally had like the 20th lowest WHIP for a reliever in MLB history last year. He has clean innings all of the time.

It's just wild to me that 3 shaky appearances is enough for people to start feeling nervous about him.

It's like 42 degrees in Chicago.  Today was a display of cold spring baseball in Chicago.

he gives up a lot of HR.

Hendriks stresses me.

It's always an adventure with that guy

too many fb down the middle.

He does, but that's the trade off he makes for never walking anyone. Bummer walks people but doesn't allow homers. Somehow neither of those approaches work for people. The reliever who strikes everyone out, doesn't allow homers, & doesn't walk anyone does not exist.

Maybe baseball should do a better job of marketing someone like TA

That's one way to get an out

Nice kick save. Hope Liam is ok
