Here's the problem though. Your idea of what the league would want to do hurts the league in an enormous way.

Whatever they were doing in 2017-18 was right. 2019 was too much, what they've done this year sucks.

  • It's hilarious that people believe TLR is the main problem with this team and things will get solved in a snap when someone new comes in.  He's on a long list of much deeper issues

Just do even basic research. He's a terrible person.

  • I did that when my daughter was an infant because it was the only way to get her to fall asleep. ?

wish our hitters could have good atbats here and there like this

Only baseball would think scoring the long way would work in an age where almost everything is a click away

It's overbalanced towards too much pitching if you consider how tough the relievers from the fifth inning usually are except for Cincy.

Kopech is off today, this is not good.

So much for carrying over something from yesterday...the Angels are poised to absolutely destroy the Sox this weekend at this rate.

This gonna be another 6-1 loss?  Kopech has absolutely nothing today.

Nicky "Fing" Lopez is a better hitter then anyone on our team not named Vaughn.

How come other teams and players work counts but we swing at 1st pitch or within 1st 3 pitches and get out???

He could pitch himself out of this, but Kopech looks gassed right now

Minus the 1, it could be.

The Sox are dead last in the AL in both walks and OBP. They have no one who even tries to work the count.

Well Kopech just limped

Blame the GM that put this team together

Nice camera work by this horrible TV production.  Jose with some balls.

Another week or two of this team looking so out of sorts and things are going to get very uncomfortable for the front office carrying so much water for TLR.

Nice camera work lol.

He was safe at 2nd.

Yeah I didn't think he threw it

I'm starting to think the "true talent" level of this team is 80 wins.

That would give the Sox more injury excuses for not admitting the emperor has no clothes.

Getting out of this with 1 would be really nice.

Or the true talent will never be on the field together...and those on the field together will inevitably be playing out of position.

The injuries really have destroyed this roster.  Just look at the crap we see every day in the lineup now or 2/5 of the starts.

And you gleaned that knowledge how exactly ?

That's my opinion based on what baseball writers/pundits are saying on sportsblab.

I'm sure next year Hahn will realize building a roster as if everyone will stay healthy the entire season isn't a sustainable strategy ?

For what team?

The only consolation about Friday is we're not playing the Angels IN Anaheim...which would inevitably mean 2-3 more dramatic bullpen losses.

Except not so heartbreaking as last year.
