Josh Harrison

Can we stop the Josh Harrison expirament.   With the exception of a few good defensie plays, this guy has done nothing offensively.  This is another Cesar Hernanez!  Should have gone after Adam Frazier to play 2nd base!

They should of never traded Nick Madrigal.

Experiment? He doesn't have many at-bats, and the other choices aren't great either. Leury or Mendick. Or some frankenstein infield with Moncada or Burger at 2B, which will probably not work. Our defence is bad enough already.

We suffered through the years of rebuild and this is the result.  Pathetic organization.

Picking him up was a typical JR move, trying to win on the cheap.

Frankly our best hope is that he's not completely washed and can put up a 1.5 WAR season somehow. Our other options are trash.

My guess is he is DFA'd around a similar time Eaton was last year.

The White Sox payroll is around $200M. They've spent plenty of money.

Harrison hustles and is a positive influence in the clubhouse. Let’s give him a chance

Yep, he hustles to first on those weak pop ups he hits.  He’s done, and it’s sad he was even considered a possible option.

At the end of the day, yes Josh Harrison is a pretty awful player, but his being on the roster isn't the biggest problem here.  When you are looking at the 11th or 12 position player on a roster, this is what you should get.

The problem is they didn't upgrade the pitching, at all.

But the hitting is what’s killing them right now.

They actually downgraded the pitching.

$181,660,000.00

We have utility infielders starting at 2B. That may not be the biggest problem, but it is a problem.
They didn't need another utility infielder anyway.

You could post a screenshot of basically every core position player on the team (aside from Vaughn + TA) to imply they wouldn't be making a difference. I would still love to have Madrigal on this team for the next ~5 months and/or 5 years.

I think the fact that they wasted money on players of Josh Harrison's caliber is a big issue. Harrison, Leury, VV, Cueto. That stuff adds up.

Does anybody else think that Yolbert is probably a better player than Harrison and Leury at this point? Defense was always his calling card, so I'd imagine he's at least equal to Harrison in that department.

This argument is such crap. With the number of players on this team that supposedly can't hit "because of the cold", we're dead in the water come October.

Projection systems already believe Yolbert is a better hitter than Leury, if that's something you're into. I definitely think it's possible (and maybe likely?) he's a better player than both of those guys at this point.
