They're not squaring up his slider at all. And he's thrown some of them in bad spots.

0% csw on the 7 sliders thrown certainly isn't ideal, you're right

I'm prone to hyperbole and hysteria but let me say this is the worst broadcast in history of MLB.

Getting this thread out there extra early. Let's get this streak up to 4 games tonight. Boston has a worse record than we do at 10-16 and they've lost the last 2.  VV pitching for our Sox coming

Again, there is no professional American sport that makes it more difficult for people to view their favorite teams than Major League Baseball.

Has this been a theme this season with McGuire not putting down the fingers for guys to throw pitches cuz of the headset in hats now or is this because they don't trust Cora and the Red Sox from cheating?

2nd time through the order could get ugly if he doesn't execute those pitches better.

Feel like the Sox are using the system quite a bit.

They're using pitch com. Only a few guys on the staff don't use it.

I'm not saying he won't eventually implode or turn back into a pumpkin, but the Sox are going to end up getting more than 3M of value out of VV

Katz is so good at his job

If he is so good what about Dallas?

The irony of this schtick vs the one for college football players isn't being lost.

What irony? I'm in favor of guys getting paid for their work. The more money MLB brings in the better for everyone involved.

I also love amateur sports. I scan the Masters and each Open to see which amateurs are playing well. I follow the US Am and especially the Mid Am and Senior Am. When those are open up to professionals I'll pay as much attention as I do to most minor stops on the PGA tour. Those amateur stories are inspiring to me. I love high school sports and head out to support all the athletes.

College football (like the Olympics) is leaving me behind as it turns professional but I'm happy for those guys. I don't begrudge them their money at all. But I'm only going to watch one professional football league and it's the NFL. College football won't miss me. Plus I'm already busy in the fall.

Personal choice. I don't think it's a big deal.

I'll say the improvements to Lucas, Rodon, and Cease vastly outweigh Dallas being washed, but to each their own

I’ve only seen catchers put down signs if the pitcher doesn’t use PitchComm.

It's pretty jarring at this point to be watching games where the pitcher/catcher aren't using it

i actually like chris young as an announcer

TA is locked in right now

Tim just got hit in the head on that throw.

1st & 3rd no outs . need to get something here..

Ok, get TA home this time

Glad it worked out but I don’t know about goin to third there…

Are the Sox going to cash in this time or nah?

Pollock was way out in front of that one and just got enough of it to get it over the SS.

One thing you can count on from Jose is a ground ball. Which you think would score TA.

Wow great baserunning!

That'll work.

That will do
