5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)

Thinking that we could beat the Yanks 1-0 was a wet dream. We needed to at least manufacture one more run.  TA has to pinch hit for Leury.  Take it as batting practice for the second game.  No desperation in our managers vocabulary.

I love how much we own Chapman.

Vaughn's stance is so different this year compared to last year. His hands used to be all over the place.

Theres one pitcher in the entire AL that we are confident against and for some reason its Chapman

I chuckled when Gordon called AJ "Babe Pollock" in the 8th inning. Turns out he was kinda right?

Yankees fans probably think the same about Hendriks.

Not throwing 101-103 now helps.

Chapman hurt?

AJ is now hitting .245 which means hes a top 3 hitter in this lineup

Nice AB AV

The Sox offense would still be good if all they saw were fastball heavy lefties

great atbat by AV

Chapman has a 101 mph fastball and was afraid to throw it to Vaughn.

I know it's greedy against Chapman, but a crooked number here would be so nice...

Yup. One of my buddies who is a Yankee fan already texted me that too lol. We'll see what happens.

Probably a good thing he will miss Donaldson because Donaldson could just sit heater

It'd be huge to get another run here.

Trevino pulled a Grandal. That was almost a strike and he couldn't catch it.
