The shocking thing is that the walks are gone. He loses a lot of his value if he's up there swinging like Robert and Anderson.

Moncada 3 for his last 38.  Even the Red Sox announcers think there absolutely has to be something wrong with him.  Completely out of sync and bad body language.

His chase rate is still excellent. He's not swinging at more pitches out of the zone. The biggest difference in his plate discipline stats is he's swinging a lot more at pitches in the zone and just doing nothing with them + getting overwhelmed.

Funny how those two old guys sitting behind home plate don't mind the rain. It's almost as if it's not raining on them. ...
