Yeah, he seemed to moving fairly all things considered when he walked off the field.  Hopefully he just misses a start or two.

At least it's not an elbow or shoulder.

    Oh God.

  • I swear the Sox would have found a way to ruin Trout 10 years ago.

Burger is a great story. I hope he can stay healthy. He's been one fun thing about this frustrating season.

Exactly

Reynaldo needs a better look at being a starter, hes been nothing but nails since the second half of last year.

Thanks for the update and the positive outlook.

Let’s hope the offense can off to a hot start as we’re going need quite a few runs

Might be a blessing in disguise. We all knew he was going to need to be skipped a few times down the road. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and we can use this as one of those times

That's a good point. He basically gets skipped today. Now win.

I’ve missed a few games but WTF is up with Robert’s stance?  Is that his first hit since the change?

I watch a lot of out of town baseball and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many freak injuries as this club the past few seasons.

Same here..

Good inning with 2 outs so far. Driving up that pitch count and runners on.

Someone really must have gotten in TLR's ear for us to get three decent lineups in a row.

Dodgers announcers repeatedly called out TLR for leading off with Leury, saying your best hitters have to hit at the top of the lineup.  Also criticized TLR for having three very low OPS  low average guys hitting in the first five spots: Leury, Yoan and Yaz.Many also criticized earlier lineups withLeury hitting second or third.  Maybe TLR finally listen to others.

Burger does it again

He knows all this. He's an idiot but not that much of an idiot. No idea what he's been doing for most of this year.

Players have been dropping like flies for several years. The Sox have led the league in hammy ILs, but really haven't had a ton more injuries than anyone else.

It's strange to me with all the advances in trainng and load management becoming a thing in allsports, players are more unavailable to play than ever.logic would suggest the opposite.

Burger seven game extra base hit streak up to MLB leading seven consecutive games.

Konerko franchise record at 9.  Paul Waner and Chipper Jones all-time record at 14.

entire training staff needs to go

You are right. This is the common denominator on all these injuries.  It is hard to believe that we could have some many injuries. Wow!

Will Burger have at least 40 RBIs by the break?

we have a nice outfield defense today..

I would imagine Lopez is done after the second.
