I normally would agree but I'm not sure you can adequately plan for all of these injuries...

TLR punting another game I see and instead of using the bullpen he wants to burn up the rotation with Cease warming up

I know Viciedo was not good, but in the minors he would crush inside fastballs. Once he got to the big club he was constantly beat inside and would look to push the ball to right field- Same with Eloy in the Cubs system.

 

It‘s like baseball coaching from the fucking 50s.

We are carrying 14 pitchers and made moves before the game. How in the fuck is no one available.

He also couldn’t ever lay off high fastballs…then the low and away slider issue.

He was talking about how Gray was able to stymie the lineup of mostly all right handers due to his good changeup I believe.  He then said this is a lineup that has been too right handed for awhile basically.
