Burger doesnt make that play

Maybe.  But that play charging in and throwing against your body’s momentum that Moncada makes with relative ease isn’t one he’s particular adept at.

You were saying?

Luery who???

One guess who has no chance to make that play.

Hell yeah Danny. Does Burger make that?

I get Mendick is outplaying his ceiling, but he makes Josh Harrison so worthless on this roster.

Danny Danny Danny….been so good lately. Didn’t see this coming; not gonna lie.

Lol

The Burger hate here is very odd

Edited by Chicago White Sox

Agree Burger doesn’t make that play but I’m betting he’s still the 3rd baseman of the future. Whether we like it or not. I think he can improve.

I mean, he’s been an awful 3B. I like the guy but I am not afraid to call a spade a spade. He can definitely hit the ball tho!

The dude has it out for Burger, similar to Sheets and Madrigal. If he doesn't think they'll be good based on his scouting acumen, he wants them to fail.

I like Jake but I think he ends up back in AAA this year unless that bat heats back up

Grandal? Sheets? Madrigal?

(Sorry, that was three guesses)

People do the same to Moncada and he has a multi year track record of being very good. Maybe there's something about playing 3B for the Sox that causes irrational negativity.

I think Montgomery is probably the 3rd baseman of the future, but Burger can be a solid DH who can fill in at 3B as needed when Moncada’s legs are sore.

I mean, Moncada is controlled thru 2025 and guaranteed thru 2024. Doubt Jake is playing much 3B at that point.

Cease is now the #1 starter for the Sox, Lynn #2, Kopech #2A, then Cueto and whoever

horrible job first couple innings of capitalizing...

but honestly have seen this all year.

Robert quit swining at every fucking pitch

if he ever learns to quit that bullshit he could be amazing.

We keep hitting ground balls in the infield with RISP.  Our inability to hit sacrifice flies with men on 3rd and less than 2 outs also hurts.

What about Mr Wisconsin himself Kelenic?
