They may have swept the Guardians but this Tigers team is still awful and scraping out a split is just... bleh.

Otoh 2-5 would have been disastrous.

Sox fanship this year like a Titanic steerage ticket.

Moncada and his .235 OBP is the perfect candidate for the lead off position today! I don't know why he hasn't been inserted there way before now.

  • Staring right at a 2-5 home stand against our own weak division.   But things are going to turn around any day now, am I right TLR?

  • Michael was hurt on 6-12 He's thrown 5 four seam fastballs 96 or higher since then. He had 64 before that.

Is there really that big of a difference between a full day off for TA vs having him pinch hit for Leury there and then playing 1 inning of SS?

It is an unwritten TLR rule that players don’t pinch hit on their “rest days”.  He has done this all season, hitting the scrubs late in close games with our boppers resting on the bench.

One observation from todays game sitting on the 1B side.  The Tiger's 1B coach was in his players ear after every pitch with hand on shoulder pointing out the different situations.  Daryl Boston, not so much, rarely talked to the runner and never appeared to be pointing anything out.

My advice today is to strive even more mightily to win this game

Boston also needs to go, Another comatose coach.  Do we have any competent coaches?  We know the manager is not.
