Moncada and his .235 OBP is the perfect candidate for the lead off position today! I don't know why he hasn't been inserted there way before now.

  • Staring right at a 2-5 home stand against our own weak division.   But things are going to turn around any day now, am I right TLR?

  • Michael was hurt on 6-12 He's thrown 5 four seam fastballs 96 or higher since then. He had 64 before that.

Stoney said the wind was blowing in.

I was always a guy that would give the closer the top of the 9th in a tie game at home, but I feel like the 10th is that place under the new Manfred rules with the runner on.

Top or middle of the order due up in the 9th = closer in the 9th

Bottom of the order due up in the 9th = closer in the 10th

Still think ReyLo should be stretched out into a starter again.

You have to give Sheets the rest of this season to show if he can produce on the regular or not. You can't give up on a 26 yr old LH batter with power too quickly.

101 for reylo?

101 on the gun for ReyLo ?

It all depends on today and the next 8 games before the break. They could be anywhere from 2 or 3GB to 10GB come next Sunday.

Agree. With that said however, I haven't seen enough positive play from this team to think they would be only 2 or 3 games out by the All Star game. While I don't think they will be 10 games out either, I just believe that if fans can see this disorganized and feeble effort the White Sox put on the field then those in charge won't keep the blinders on much longer. Only time will tell.

I think he is more valuable as a middle reliever

Wouldn't make him a starter but I sure as hell would let him have a 2nd inning when his first one was like that.

He sucked as a starter

Lopez should never pitch in low leverage situations again. Hopefully Tony finally realizes that

I don't think he could ever be a starter who goes 3 times through a lineup. Is he more valuable as a high leverage monster or twice through the lineup starter? I would say the former.

Lopez has to get another inning right?

For as much as we have fucked up this year, we have done a nice job with him, so, uh, go sox

I think he should end up closing

Opener maybe, or emergency spot starter.  But I agree, he’s way more valuable in high leverage spots.

He's a different pitcher now than when he started. If he can keep the velocity in the mid to upper 90s over 5 innings and mix in his slider and other offspeed he should start.

Please Graveman, nothing over the plate to Baez

Why fox what isn’t broken? Sox need pen arms and ReyLo has been great. Plus they only have 1 more year of control. Leave him be.

We have a pretty good closer.

I want the White Sox to spend even more on the bullpen. Half or higher of the payroll to the bullpen!
