I turn the game on just now and the first thing I see is Leury knocking himself over swinging through a fastball down the middle.

Then he sneaks a grounder through the right side.

For sure.  Leury is our Cal Ripken Jr.   he is our iron man that plays everyday no matter how sore his legs are.

Have to hand it to Kopech. He didn't have much, but he kept them in the game.

I am glad Burger was not at third for the Baez bullet down the line.  He would not have had a chance, but Moncada threw him out.

Kopech giving up 2 runs over 5 1/3 is pretty great, considering how little he had today stuff-wise. Too bad the offense didn't show up.

If somehow he gets out of this inning, and somehow we avoid the Joe akelly Experience,  and the Sox can somehow score 2 more runs, the Sox may win. Odds are not good, but check one off.

Foster is terrible.

There is no indication this team will score a run so can't waste Lopez graveman or Hendricks with no off days and DH.

If you're not willing to pitch your best relievers when down by 1 in the 6th inning then just give up on the season. That's the kind of mentality that the Pirates and Royals use.
