I hope that I used the TLR emoji appropriately there.  With all the new emojis I feel a bit like the grandpa at the end of Moonstruck..."I'm so confused"

Yeah I’m not sure about those either ?

Moncada and his .235 OBP is the perfect candidate for the lead off position today! I don't know why he hasn't been inserted there way before now.

  • Staring right at a 2-5 home stand against our own weak division.   But things are going to turn around any day now, am I right TLR?

  • Michael was hurt on 6-12 He's thrown 5 four seam fastballs 96 or higher since then. He had 64 before that.

Michael gave up 11 ER in 51 IP before he hurt his knee.

He's given up 18 ER in 22 IP since.

Probably some sort of correlation,  but I'm no mathemagician

Katz sucks.  Having Kopech completely abandon the change was a horrendous mistake and to not have him go back to it once he went back to the rotation is a firable offense

3.58 ERA and rapidly falling.

Saw the same thing last year second half…especially after the injury return.

His FIP is now 4.55. He got a bit lucky early in the year not giving up any homers for a month, but that was also a far different pitcher than current Kopech.

more good baserunning

sounds like a pattern with flame throwers in this organization

Cease has gotten better and better, except for pitching deep into games.

This is mostly about Kopech and Giolito, who hasn’t been in that 95-97 range for years now.

Lopez has rediscovered his stuff in then pen but so inconsistent/erratic as a starter in terms of what kind of FB he’d feature from start to start.

Lynn it’s all about Father Time, injury, stamina and conditioning/nutrition program or lack thereof.

Lol Jesus Christ

Youve gotta be kidding me

Why oh why do I turn on these fucking games

Man Vaughn is slow

Vaughn the slowest guy ever

Great throw and tag but Vaughn is SO SLOW

And both Kopech and Giolito have been hurt this year

Moncada - 5 pitches

Vaughn - 2 pitches

Robert - 1 pitch

this team is so shitty

9 pitch inning.  Way to make them work..

Robert with a pitch to drive to LF on the inner half, but the opposite field approach means he pops it up to the right side.

And it gives Kopech no rest in between innings

To me this is the most incriminating thing about this team and its staff - its constantly the same losing approaches, mistakes and philosophies over and over.

Hitting coach's philosophy.  Away away away.   Don't ever pull anything

its because he is standing so far from the plate.

This whole team is out of shape. They need to fire the entire coaching staff and training staff and the need to hire a fulltime dietician for these out of shape bums.

This is false. Moncada saw 7 pitches.

Look at at that.   Changeup and it results in an out.

This Tiger pitcher has been sent down like 3 times this year. He used to be a bullpen guy.
