There were other options than the assclown Mets McCann deal or Hahn’s assclown Grandal deal. Grandal performed as expected, a terrible catcher in decline stage who could hit at times. That’s what I pegged him at Thanksgiving Week 2019. I thought it was a poor allocation of roster resources by a team operating under Jerry Reinsdorf. Many here said he would play 120 games a season and would be an elite catcher.
