Jake Lamb homer for the Mariners.

Guardians staring at a 4-game sweep tomorrow. Wouldn’t be the end of the world for them as they finish with 24 out of 36 at home. They’ll still win 20 games which will be enough.

Tito's boys don't quit

I swear the Guardians have had some crazy comebacks this year.

Madrigal up to .599 OPS, .253 BA.

His last 30 games: 294 AVG, 358 OBP

SLG is awful though, .321

Not sure if he has lingering power issues from injuries, but I thought he would continue to slug over 400. If he does that and stays healthy hes going to be solid

Yup, was a terrible trade that has continued to get worse.

And Marcus Semien's prolonged slump to begin this season is now a relic. Consider this:

Semien's first 42 games: 181/.236/.241, 0 HR, 10 RBI, 14 runs scored, 36 wRC+

Semien's next 91 games: .270/.331/.495, 21 HR, 57 RBI, 67 runs scored, 134 wRC+

There was a lot of "and people wanted to sign *him*????" after Semien got off to such a slow start, but the difference between him and Harrison could easily be the difference in the division.

1) I'm so glad to see Trayce Thompson thriving after he bounced around for so many years.

2) Holy s%*#, Trayce Thompson is 31-years-old now.

3) What the f*** is the Padres' catcher wearing. I get it vibes with their Miami-esque City Connect jerseys, but he's probably blinding their pitcher.

Caufield's post caused me to do a little bit of digging on how far back the Sox ineptitude at 2nd base goes. They haven't had a 2nd baseman reach 4 fWAR in a season since Nellie Fox in 1960 lol.

Ray Durham was pretty damned good, but he wasn't the type of defensive player (other than on pop-ups into short RF and foul territory) that could get himself 1-1.5 fWAR points on defense ALONE.

Guess it's Alfaro and not Nola...Colombians love to be colorful.

Crismatt is the other Colombiano on that team.
