I’m not sure if he’s tipping it but hitters aren’t even flinching 

Kopech needs to figure out how to have full feel of his stuff early in the game. He’s been consistently struggling in the 1st inning

The ones he's thrown today are barely competitive. 

The Sox should just keep hitting ground balls. That's a great approach in Coors.

The swing & chase rates against it are basically identical to last season, which makes me think it's not a tipping issue. The velocity is up, but his swinging strike rate with it is 7.8% which is as bad as you'll ever see for a slider.

If he just played average defense at 3B he would probably still be playing regularly, assuming his bat stayed productive. But he had a -6 OAA in his brief time at 3B. It's weird cause I don't think his defense was that bad in 2021.
