7/26: Sox @ Rockies 7:40 CST….Is now the time to get over that .500 Mountain Top

Featured Replies

Maybe going over .500 is what the doctor ordered for the White Sox. As much flak as TLR and the team takes, it's one hot streak away from being a normal contender, say 6-7 over .500.

Can u imagine if the Sox actually got hot and got that record getting to where it should be?

Hope you are right about the wins.  Not sure about Tony waking up, there is less oxygen in Denver and he needs more sleep.

Rockies TV guys were saying that opposing relievers sometimes struggle catching their breath after they run in from the bullpen due to the altitude. It definately looked like that was the problem for Liam. He gets pretty ramped up on his own without the altitude bothering his breathing.

I have had that happen to me and its hard to get your breath back for a few minutes.

concerned about liam... his velo down and getting scored on the last 3 games.

can't afford another injury

That was definitely the case. He gets himself so worked up to begin with.

Why the hell is the game at 2 tomorrow when the Sox have Thursday off and the Rockies stay at home on Thursday?

Just bring back the vests and win the world series.

Not so fast, they are undefeated with the white pinstripes with the blue #

Alright I guess we gotta make it Jackie Robinson day every day from now on. It only makes sense cause we have TA.

Sounds good to me....anyone who doesn't like that can stick it.

So their legs can rest.

That last at bat seemed like it took a month.  Thankfully, Liam pushed through it.  .500 has been passed, hopefully never to return.

Thank goodness....most of his stats are depressing.

Coors Field is an amazing place.  Great downtown park.  There were 40,000+ fans on a Tuesday night.  Rockies converted the cheap seats into an awesome party area.  Sox win 2-1 in a pitchers duel at Coors….crazy.

Do the vests and the '50s Sox jerseys to honor Minnie getting in.

We had Thome and Konerko at one point. Dye wasn't exactly fast either.

They at least hit home runs. This team? Not so much.
