Hope you are right about the wins.  Not sure about Tony waking up, there is less oxygen in Denver and he needs more sleep.

Graveman has had very few 1-2-3 innings.

So the Rockies TV guys can't figure out why the Sox are a .500 team.

They overestimated TLR HOF credentials for starters.

Why do i feel like there is another broken remote in my near future?

Oh great, now Eloy injured his mouth.

What happened with Eloy?

On to the 9th

Why was Jose mad? What did i miss?

An extra insurance run, or 2, or 3... so the 9th inning feels a bit more comfortable would be nice. No lead ever feels safe in this ballpark.

SUre but the only reason the Sox got Cueto was because Lynn got hurt. Hahn preferred VV to him and probably passed on Martin Perez too because he was $1M more than V V.

None of that discounts what Cueto has done for this team and that is fill the fifth spot in the rotation, vacated by Rodon, without a drop off in performance.

Why did Jose take off running after that 3rd out?

He does it a lot

He always does that

What was funny was that Graveman either got freaked out by Jose running at him or he was gonna race Jose back to the dugout.

He was just messing around

Mil has 1st and 2nd 1 out bottom of the 9th tied 6-6 with the twinkies

He of course is having a great year, but if you take a step back, Cueto has contributed as much as he would have in that spot (so far).  This isn’t excusing them from not doing the QO.

The extra value they could have gotten from Rodon between OD-Mid May when Cueto debuted is probably the difference in the division. Not offering Rodon the QO + matching what the Giants gave him is, was, and will always be inexcusable for a franchise that will find any reason under the sun not to sign pitchers to *long-term* contracts, 1 or 2 years of someone with ace potential should have been right in their wheelhouse.

I am still annoyed about this but obviously I need to let it go.

Brewers have the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the ninth, game tied at 6

As we know, this is the most difficult situation there can be for the offense

Twins about to lose to the Brewers. Sox 3 GB after Liam closes this one out.

No but it does say how bad a job Hahn did in addressing the starting pitching lack of depth when he throws money away like a drunken sailor on injured relief pitching and giving Leury a 3year contract.

Cueto plus VV cost considerably less than Rodon

Ugly inning

Way to try to add on geez
