  • Earl Weaver knew how to manage.  Probably my all-time favorite.  If you were a regular player you were on the field or in the hospital.  He didn't try to overthink it.

If we get swept by the A's which is a good possibility as they also swept the Astros then we have to blow up this this team of losers and quitters. I don't know if I can take watching this sorry cast

Graveman is out in the pen.  Wonder if Hendriks is still out.

He said that he hasn't been able to throw as much cause of his elbow in a Fegan interview.

Wonder if we'd have a better record if we ever carried more than 23 players on the roster

I've lost track of how many pitchers we have in rehab

Good thing they gave him a 3 year deal ?

stealth tanking by the A's

Liam's elbow issues are pretty concerning. He's had a torn UCL for nearly a decade. It's probably held together by tape and glue at this point.

Massive hanger pounded into the ground

Grandal has 5 extra base hits in 228 PA's

That nearly backfired. Jose saved TLR.

You bet. I still can’t believe TLR didn’t intentionally walk the lefty Brown.  We are always swimming against the current with TLR at the helm.

It's really a 4 year deal, but with the last year differed so Jerry doesn't have to hand all the money out at once.

My god Grandal is swinging a wiffle ball bat.  Put him on the IL and let him get healthy.

oh, oops. I thought you were referring to Graveman. my bad.

Could Grandal be anymore worthless offensively

Just hoping he retires this offseason :)

I'd love to know if Yasmani's batting practice looks normal. I find it impossible to believe he's capable of doing damage on *any* pitch right now.

Then why is he hitting 5th or in the lineup at all?

There are tons of guys with short powerful swings like Trout who never wrap the bat around their shoulder.

If Trout ever plays again, I'll pay attention.  Meanwhile, Sheets does not follow through and hits a bunch of fly ball outs.  Or so it seems.  Todd Helton is another wone who really followed through.  As did Ted Williams.

The whole stadium thought Grandal hit that for an extra base hit, only for it to travel like 250 feet. Back issues along with knee issues aren't a joke. I got a herniated disc around 4 years ago and I just can't hit like I did pre-injury.

Engel should be running for Eloy

Couple of bloopers falling masked how bad he’s been

vaughn has been working third basemen to death recently

Vaughn fails to elevate a great pitch to hit.

I thought that too.
