  • Earl Weaver knew how to manage.  Probably my all-time favorite.  If you were a regular player you were on the field or in the hospital.  He didn't try to overthink it.

If we get swept by the A's which is a good possibility as they also swept the Astros then we have to blow up this this team of losers and quitters. I don't know if I can take watching this sorry cast

Mendocino goes tonite.

He was just a little late on that one. If he pulls it more it's a 3-2 game.

This was another example why Eloy had to be hitting 5th ahead of Grandal which has no power.  The Eloy drive would have scored one run as sacrifice fly.

I was just looking at Menechino's batting stats. In 7 years with Oakland and Toronto his career batting average is .240 with 36 career Homers. How the hell does somebody with a .240 lifetime batting average become a hitting coach. That boggles my mind

It is kind of funny how he tells his hitters to try to hit .300 when he's a career .240 hitter.

It was 1st and 2nd, so it wouldn't have.

I'd like to thank Johnny Cueto for his efforts and apologize to him for the pathetic offensive display of his teammates.

Legendary players do not always make great coaches either.

We have a pitching coach who never made it to the bigs.

Sorry my bad.  Still Grandal should not be hitting 5 th for the foseeable future.

Sheets finally got the launch angle right lol

with that HBP im sure the TLR and the training staff is going to sit Vaughn for 3 games

There is OFFENSE afoot!!

Hallelujah!

I heard a theory for the 1st inning. If Anderson gets on Moncada should sacrifice him over.  Scoring first helps your pitcher.

He's going to be playing RF every day until the end of the season because of that HR. TLR will feel vindicated.

They you go Jay Cuda…

Bout time.

Sheets may suck but he's better than half the hitters in this lineup.

Man Benetti is so much better than Len

You don't see Ethan Katz saying stuff like "fuck the strikeout".

The top of the lineup badly needs to carry their weight. Getting another run vs a mediocre reliever shouldn't be a big ask.

Maybe. But Menechino is going nowhere.

Cueto is totally coming out for the eighth now if its tied so he can try and get a win, isn't he

So Sheets tied it up. Do they get another run across, hold them and win?
