Really??  Guy is what 23 and a PLUS hitter.  Yeah good idea just get rid of him because we have soooo much waiting in the wings down on the farm.

It's more of an issue with how the Sox have way too many 1B types. They need to get more left handed and plug the holes at 2B and RF.

Pretty much this.  And Vaughn's years of cheap control gives him by far the greatest return value to plug the other holes

Love to see other teams having trouble in the 8th, although that was much more of a problem for us last season than this one.

I never liked uncompetitive pitches on 0-2.

It'd be helpful it we got one of our leadoff guys on and stopped their leadoff guys; that's one of the most frustrating parts of everything
