I guess he wants to be a starter.  It's hard to convince any pitcher they can be a stud middle man.

Only one Rick Hahn - if the other GM's operated like him, everyone would be trying to be a reliever.  And crap - 3-0.

There's 0 reason to not be in front of the ball there

  • It's nice to know Reese McGuire can have a future in the booth after his mlb career is over.

  • Engel is on this team for 2 reasons, his baserunning and his defense. He has been atrocious at both. Please dont come back next year

Siiigh

Hahahaha

That's game. Don't make mistakes to Raleigh.

shitty coaches from low A to MLB

Consistency is not always a good thing

Must be nice to hit homers.

Well, at least it isn't a 1-0 loss, I guess.

Wonder if they'll try to extend him?

I've suggested this and people make jokes about him being another expensive reliever. But I think at least exploring it would be a no brainer.

Vaughn is just too slow to play out there. He’s not much faster than Konerko was, as we would have never seen him out there.

Sheets and Vaughn are slow pitch softball corner outfielders.

Bad 8th inning rears its ugly head again.

Good night fellas.

They will definitely score a run now - just to toy with our emotions.

Good things happen when you pull the ball in the air. Hopefully the next Sox GM and hitting coach realizes that.

That was the first homer Lopez has given up all year. Kinda unbelievable.

How on earth do you miss a 12 hopper like that???

10 hops too many, but that's not Sheets' error.

we werent scoring in the 9th anyway

Desperately need to find a way not to lose a game in the standings tomorrow

They’re going to end up losing a game due to a ball getting away that a 5 year old could knock down

I think that runner would have probably scored later anyway with one out there was a deep ball hit.

Lack of plate discipline has been so damn bad

Swings at ball 4.  And 14 strikeouts - yuck.

Chases ball 4…truly pathetic.  Retire jerk

One of their worst games all year of chasing pitches out of the zone.

I was talking to a friend of mine who's a big baseball fan and really big into fantasy baseball. We were talking about Cease and he asked me if there was anyone besides Cease that has outperformed expectations on the team this year. I immediately said Cueto, but after that...I literally couldn't think of anyone else. It's amazing that not one guy on the offensive side of the ball has had a career year or even a real good year by their standards.

Whiff. Sox can't play modern day baseball. Hitting coaches won't even matter.

KKKKK. Oh our Sox stink.

Grandal needs to be facing mostly LHP.  OPS is around .490 vs RHP.
