What is the point of Payton?

Snell/Lynn tmrw.  He has been the best pitcher for SD the last six weeks.

Snell hosted a pizza party for every single Padres' staff member/interns/ticket sellers, etc., this weekend.  Good guy.

Andrus is really earning himself a contract for next year...even though it's probably not the wisest move of all time to base it on a hot streak.

So glad that jake Diekman will be on the 2023 White Sox and Manny Machado won't. Nice job, Jerry & Rick.

Remember when the White Sox offered Machado the most money overall? That was a knee slapper. 

Also, Jake Diekman is going to be an expensive DFA candidate next year. Bad resource management.

I think I've seen enough Josh Harrison.

The terrible defense & base running is starting to wear off on Andrus, too. Put on the jersey for too long and those mistakes become inevitable.
