Robert generates more value in a typical week than Felix Pie did in his entire career. We don't always have to go off the deep end when on of the core guys looks bad for a few games.

Robert has a career 123 wRC+ and is a plus defender in CF

Patterson was a role player and Felix Pie was terrible. Those 2 aren't remotely comparable to Robert even with all of his obvious flaws
