  • Diekman is just unbelievably bad.  They should have cut him like Leury.

  • The back half of that Astros lineup is ass. Hopefully the bats get going a little more today and we don't have to pull one out of our ass again. Excited about this one, ill be sitting behind home

  • Weird (in a good way) not to have that unnecessary day-after-opening-day-off-day thing.

That looked like Sox at bats yesterday

He should throw more strikes.

I think his struggles against the Astros are in his head at this point.

Agree

thank god the astros lineup is not that great in the bottom half right now.

Wonderful. Let's rub their noses in it.

I say we got them Houston Astros right where we want 'em.

No way to know, but Lynn really doesn't strike me as that type of guy. It probably doesn't help they've been an historically good offense over the last ~5 years.

Lynn all over the place but escapes

Way to pitch out of it. It helps that the bottom of the Astros lineup isn't what it usually is.

It totally falls off a cliff with all of their injuries. It's a good time to play em.

McCormick isn't actually hurt. Was he that bad in ST that Meyers is playing over him?

They just have his number.  Be it mental or whatever it is.

It's a bad matchup for him. He likes throwing fastballs. The Astros are good at hitting fastballs. If you don't keep them honest with good breaking stuff they will kill you.

Andrus tried hard to not walk that at bat

He was throwing an abnormal amount of breaking balls

LET HIM WALK YOU!

TA!

I'll never stop loving that inside out swing

Those swings were so late and unnecessary.

Dusty likes Jake Meyers a lot more than I do, I guess. That one I don't understand either.

Robert looking brutal at the plate

Robert looks overmatched the last couple of nights

I'd like it if Luis didn't look like every at bat was his first
