it's a painful watch so far. thank god MLB.tv was free thanks to T-Mobile again. Ain't a chance in fucking hell I'd pay to watch this s%*#.

Giving up so many home runs, leading giving up stuff with two outs and an absolute absence of 1-2-3 innings from the pitching are among the most annoying ways to do it

  • Boy I really do enjoy watching 9 innings of baseball, just to finish with that runner on 2B crap.  You will never never never convince me that rule is a good idea.  It is bullshit, plain and simple.

Sox lost because of defense, inability to hit with risp, and injured players missing from the field of play. Literally a carbon copy of 2022.

losing games on the margins is how I'd put it. Small things adding up. Countless times last year we failed to break open innings and then it would come back to haunt us and our bats would go cold rest of the way. Seeing a very similar pattern this year.

almost a 1-2-3 inning. almost no two out hit.

Another 2 out hit

Does Jay ever have a statistic that doesn't make me at least a little sick??

Who was it that was arguing that Lynn wasn't currently yet another bad contract to have on the books?

Surprised Rick Hahn hasn't put out a hit on him from feeling so affronted... why can't he just need more positive?

I wish our hitters could recognize a pitch that isn't straight. Good lord

This is sad

It's baffling how this offense just goes dormant and pitching losses it.

Burger was too high a pick to be so bad v RHP.  Such a wasted pick.

lol they have no chance

The dream of them getting back to .500 lasted about as long as those Grandal and Burger at bats in the 1st.

30 pitches in first, 26 I think since then.

Is it me or does Grandal already have very little chance of throwing anyone out at 2B??

Hyper athletic Andrew Vaughn has arrived.

Only Jarred Kelenic.

Don’t forget having to watch glorified spring training lineups two weeks into the season

Doesn't that belong in the JK appreciation thread?

Top 7 in line up all at .273 or above the black hole sucking everything into the vortex at the bottom.

I also would love Jay to post what our ERA is in innings after we score.  Seems like it’s 13 or so.

League success rate on steals is around 80-85% right now. Yaz was like 2/11 last I checked, which would be in line with that.
