Keuchel's Mom may have been right all along!

This quote from when Keuchel was DFA'd by the Sox:

"Keuchel's mom may have a point about the White Sox organization’s ineptitude. They have routinely failed in areas such as pro scouting, player development, and in the win column.

The track record is the proof in the pudding, yes they are a pathetic organization.

File this under "No s%*#." It's all obvious.

You would think a team whose scouting mistakes made her son filthy rich, would be held in a much higher regard by Dallas' mother.

Well said. Also, why in the hell was Kuechel's mother commenting on the White Sox organization in the first place? Dude is a grown ass man.

I remember when she said this I thought it was kinda odd that she commented but I wasn't mad. I was like, well yeah. That is after all how they ended up with Dallas Keuchel in the first place.

MAYBE ADAM AND DRAKE LAROCHE WERE RIGHT LOL.

And Sale on the uncomfortable 1983 throwback jerseys lol.

Ventura must be enjoying life again away from this tire fire.

It was the 1977 jerseys.

“We came out flat and I felt like we stayed flat the whole game,” starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel said. “We’ve got some guys coming out and taking professional at-bats, being professional on the mound and doing what it takes to win and we’ve got some guys going through the motions. So we need to clean a lot of things up. If we want to be in this thing at the end of the season, we need to start that now.”

That's a quote from Dallas in 2020. Foreshadowing of what was to come. Dude pitched like garbage on his way out but maybe the reason he was so "unlikable" here is because he refused to settle into the culture of complacency.

Well, she was half right...

The organization IS ass, but her son was pitching like ass, too. Unfortunately for us fans, both were/are the case.

Sure, she wasn’t wrong about the org, but this isn’t some groundbreaking insight.  It’s nothing any of us hasn’t said ad infinitum to this point.  It was also obvious that Keuchel was completely done when he was released last season, and him washing out elsewhere was simply more evidence.  Her staring the obvious in defense of her washed up kid doesn’t exactly earn her any credibility.

Always just shut up and quietly close the door on the way out.
