Grifol is really bad. Why can't we find even an average manager?

Look at the idiots who are hiring these guys

25-30 would be an absolute miracle and honestly would probably signal the season isn't over.

  • He certainly looked like he was swinging with his eyes closed yesterday.

They really REALLY need to win this game. As sad as that sounds.

Jason such a hungry hungry hippo

my god, Lucas is such a head case sometimes, him and Cease have so much raw talent but they have a lot of Gavin Floyd in them also

edit: also also also

Grifol has no sense of urgency.  Doesn’t show any emotion, low energy.  Our HO is incompetent. TLR and now Grifol bad job.

Real nice at bat by Sheets

Really good comparison. Especially Gio. Both so damn frustrating sometimes.

Long way to go. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Sox win 10-5. Keeping Giolito in that long was a mistake though.

Alex Faedo is dominating us.

Righties need to realize almost every pitch to them is on the outside corner

19 straight pitches to righties that were on the outside corner or farther off the plate

Particularly on the fourth Tigers run, no business for Giolito been still in the game.  He had nothing left.

We keep swinging at sliders out of the zone, which has been a Sox Achilles Heel all season long.

Arguably a problem for the past 2 decades

I'm starting to really like Santos

I've been patient, but this is definately a lost opportunity to keep this tied or at worst have two guys on tied. Someone should have been warming during / after the 3rd. It was clear Lucas was done and Dunn.

Lucas had already dodged a bullet in the 3rd with the double play after 3walks.  Someone should have been warming up after that.

Sox hitters are Faedo's dream lineup.

Pedro should have brought him in to pitch to Baez, who is strike out prone, but Giolito did not have strike out stuff tonight.

These are some awful at bats.  Just too much mediocrity up and down the lineup.

Pathetic offense. 10k's v some jabroni pitcher. Have no clue of what a slider looks like. Just keep swinging away.

Garbage

It seems sometimes like this team as a collective thinks, "some people are starting to believe in us again...we better do something about that."

Crochet is in. I may get my wish.
