Baseball gods reminding Romy he's not THAT good. 

Not a good at-bat from Romy. He should know he's going to get tons of sliders and to lay off anything on the outer third, but he swings at one of them to go 0-1, then one to strike out.

Those sliders were pretty well-located, sure, but you have to be aware of how these guys are going to work you. You're not going to get center cut fastballs to start an at-bat very often, and the one he did get in the middle of the at-bat he missed.

Lynn is shaping up to be a DFA candidate... is what I would say, if the Sox had anyone in the minors who could put up less than a 6 ERA

ND chickened out of the series after getting one last home game. They can screw off. I don't really have any animosity towards Freeman but he's a Golden Domer so screw him.

This should be his last batter, but I’m sure Pedro won’t deviate from the script

I remember after the Eaton trade was made, I was listening to one of the national baseball writers on the radio who speculated that Dunning would be the best of the 3 pitchers and that he certainly had the highest floor of the 3.
