Just like the Dodgers ordered their rookie second baseman not to swing throughout the spring.

Of course you have to have talent to make contact with two strikes if you get behind in the count like an Arraez or even "prime" Madrigal lol.

Maybe not swing until a first strike is thrown, particularly against breaking ball pitchers. Most of the sliders that they are swinging at and missing are out of the zone anyway.

  • Look, you’re gonna get a lot of shitty or Sunday lineups when you just don’t have many good players on your roster. Frazier for sheets is a lateral move and as far as I can tell most people want

  • Bad teams lose games like this.  This was beyond mind-boggling.

  • White Sox Park
    White Sox Park

I hope that someone will ask, why not guard the line late in the game, with a lead, to protect against doubles, just like the one that killed them.

Almost impossible to win with just three legit hitters on the entire team... all stacked 3-5.

Have to feel for Grifol's limitations.

That said, no intuitive sense about bullpen management like Ozzie once had at the beginning of his career.

65 pitches means they can at least get 5 innings out of Lucas.

Would love to have the Marlins' catcher as the back up, who is so great at blocking pitches...assuming Sox go rebuild/retool with budget cuts.

This ump is not good

The mighty Royals scored 4 runs off Garrett his last time out

Sox have scored 3 runs in the last 30 innings

It’s hard to believe that 6 teams in the AL have struck out more than the Sox. What is easy to believe is that only the Royals have a lower OBP than our guys

This team has no plan

Boring ass team.

out of all the games ive ever watched, this is among them

Soler home run, game over at 1-0 in the 5th.

Team is so boring

That will probably do it

May be enough

Why is Andrus so far off the plate

so that he can bloop a single if someone misses in

That should have been a violation

Seby is an automatic out

Garrett has been mediocre all year, and AWFUL lately, so of course he's untouchable to these "close your eyes and swing as you might just hit it" hitters

its never, ever set in that you don't need to swing first pitch

a runner in scoring position

Can't enjoy it for more than 10 seconds

But neither are the Sox.

Frazier not bringing much to the party

They have one home run threat and they throw him first pitch mediocre fastball down the plate
