RH Javier Assad will take the mound this evening to face the White Sox. He is a converted reliever and was stretched out to 7 innings in a win at Toronto on the 11th. 

He faced the Sox once in a relief appearance last series, retiring all five batters he faced. Hopefully the Sox learned something from that appearance and film from his recent starts.

The most important game left on the schedule.  The only important game left on the schedule.  Will the Sox show up and win?  They should be motivated like it's the seventh game of the World Series because this group will never get close.

How would they know what the motivation for the seventh game is the World Series is like if they’ve never been close?  It’s a conundrum.

At least he is playing tonight. I was watching channel 2 and they said he was out again tonight with a stiff back.

It’s startling how Colas can’t go on a hot streak to save his life 

Only two players even over a .700 OPS.

Our very best just gotten taken out on a basepaths in a way that's not exactly going to improve his metrics for that particular aspect of the game.
