South Side Hit Men Posted August 16, 2023 Share Posted August 16, 2023 RH Javier Assad will take the mound this evening to face the White Sox. He is a converted reliever and was stretched out to 7 innings in a win at Toronto on the 11th. He faced the Sox once in a relief appearance last series, retiring all five batters he faced.
