This team's offense

Featured Replies

This has been mostly our intact line-up that was supposed to be formidable...

Wow is it bad... it's pretty remarkable how shitty the offense is.

We are not missing anyone that wasn't supposed to be a threat... and we can't do s%*# on offense.

They’re an offensive team for sure.

A few years ago, it looked like the offense would be truly formidable.  But Anderson is no longer the catalyst he once was. Eloy has actually hit the ball fairly well since the ASB, but his power hasn't been there. It all adds up to a team that cannot afford to get behind. But, with this pitching staff, it is often behind. This offense just won't scare anyone.

Except for a few games once this team gets behind in a game they just about quit.

I cant figure out whats more putrid, the O or the pitching

Defense has to be in the convo. They do none of the 3 well.

It’s a tie.

Good God this team gets an F- in every facet of the game. Its truely amazing how incompetent they are

But the Churros gets an A

Right, they are high in the food power rankings and the talking about culture power rankings.

That's easy, Ownership and front office. Nothing else is close.

Eloy is now Jaun Pierre without the speed. He should improve his bunting as well.

Someone said the Sox should put out an ad seeking the best hitting coach.  If they are not you fire them.  Hitting coaches are hired to get fired.  TLR and Dusty did it a lot.

As for Katz you have to try someone else.  They should've promoted Coop into development and scouting. The old school guys make not look at the popular spreadsheets but they can still spot delivery and arm angle and say no that's not gonna work.

This team doesn’t hit the ball hard, they don’t hit the ball in the air enough, they don’t see enough pitches, and they don’t take enough walks.

I still can't understand why Burger was traded. He's hitting very well in Miami and I'm not surprised.

Right now it’s one of the worst trades in Sox history.

News flash, Kopech still bad.

It was a whopper of a trade. Kenny's last hurrah.

Its bad enough he was traded but like the trades of Tatis Jr and Madrigal we received nothing for them. Wouldn't this teams offense be better if Burger, Madrigal and Tatis Jr were in the starting lineup?

Kopech went from a mental issue (years ago) to now a physical issue (just can't throw it hard enough)... Maybe it's now both. Change of scenery candidate.

Kopech and TA to whoever the high bidder is.

This could be the Tatis/shields trade version 2

Not even close.

How many times has this lousy offense scored in only 1 of the innings of a ballgame?

Only one explanation. Kenny knew he would finally be held accountable.
