South Side Hit Men Posted November 18, 2023 Share Posted November 18, 2023 (edited) The White Sox need one or two actual catchers this year, as Lee looked overwhelmed and Perez needs work. Any help the mostly AAA pitching staff can get from a good defensive catcher or two who can handle game management would be a big help. They really needed this the past three seasons after McCann left, but they had mostly veteran pitchers in the rotation and bullpen who could somewhat work around the deficiencies beyond the endless passed and dropped balls.
