This is truly the most pathetic season I’ve ever witnessed across any sport. I almost cant believe it’s real.

115.

9-5 ties the Mets in the L column.

5-9 for lowest winning percentage in the modern era.

Shutout again, 6 singles 1 walk 9 strikeouts

im already ready for next season to be over.

No game thread, not surprising, but this has to be entered somewhere...

Guys, if they lose the next 6 straight, they can break the all-time loss record and the record for most 10-game losing streaks in the same game.

Too perfect to actually happen though.

I still worry the Angels will roll over and screw up our march to infamy.

Angels have 5-10X the offense of the White Sox and something approximating a young core of solid position players.

That's not even getting into offense, bullpen, defense/fundamentals/execution.

The only advantage might be in some of the starting pitching matchups, but Crochet is always limited to 4 innings, leaving 5 innings for the renowned Sox bullpen to cover.

Didn't the 76ers have single digit wins one season? This is even worse.

19 18 10 victories....2013-2016....total of 47 victories over 3 years

Oh man, and Cease’s spot in the rotation is scheduled for the game before this. All we need is one rainout for the Padres in the meantime to make this a perfect storm.

I need to do something about this erection before work or I’m in big trouble.

If they folded the franchise would anyone even care?

The Sox can only lose 5 more times to prevent it now.  I just don’t see the angels letting the Sox smoke them for 6 games and also the Sox -not- losing to San Diego and Detroit.  The fact that the Sox have to go 9-5 to close the year out means it’s done, to me.  Not one time this year have they approached that kind of “winning”

9-73 in ‘72-‘73.

Bobcats had a worse winning % in the lockout year (7-59).

They haven’t even won 9 games over the last 2 and a half months there’s no chance they win 9 over the next 2 weeks. I’m glad this happened, they deserved it.

You think this team is capable of winning 9 of 14? Lol.

Basketball can be more extreme because only 5 players are on the floor at the same time.

An expansion team would reach the playoffs faster.

I'm looking for more infamy than just the 120 losses. I want them to set the all time worst winning percentage.

Me too. Nobody in the organization seems to be embarrassed so bring on the losses please.

A second Chicago baseball legend, the Curse of JR.
