Cmon. We have more than a right to be 'haters.' Even though the Sox have woken up with Pham and Mendick and a decent starter who is on his way soon, the roster construction is beyond bad. He should be reprimanded for calling true fans haters. I mean, cmon. We haters still want the team to win. We are just appalled at this historically bad team. He must apologize.

I try not to hate the players, some are just plain bad and shouldn’t be on a Major League team, same with the GM and manager but that doesn’t change my hate for the despicable owner we have. Everything wrong with the franchise is because of him.

I think it's time for Mike Singeltary to go into Jerry's office and call him out with his " I want winners" rant.

Crowd might be a little weak tonight. I just saw a broken down party bus on the Kennedy with about 25 people dressed in Sox swag standing outside of it.

@Dick Allendid you see the actual Sox players on the side of the road? Perhaps they were kidnapped by organized crime and replaced by actual MLB talent to win rigged bets? It's the only explanation for the results last night that make sense.

Our new pay-by-play announcer enjoyed some time in the outfield concourse getting to know us and the park. After watching replays, I liked the way he called out WSox haters during Benintendi's walk off HR.  It was about time someone did it.

IMO, calling out the fans after moving from 4-22 to 5-22 just further alienates them.  They’re 5-22 and all of a sudden the angry fans get called out as though they’ve been wrong to be upset about this team who is nearly on track to be the worst team of all-time?  Classic Jerry’s White Sox.  It’s always good to see a win.  But how about we save the call out for when they win at a 70+% clip from here on out and actually accomplish something—then continue that accomplishment year after year proving again that they care about winning and the fans.

You can’t go 5-22 with a roster expected to do just that without making fans angry.  Pretty reasonable.

28k fans went home happy last pm. Good job Boys. Let's sweep them today

Think how miserable he was having to wait since last September to have a 2 game winning streak to rub in people's faces.

Nobody wants to face the White Sox.

For me, the solution is simple. Mute the game broadcast. Stop watching Garfien and Ozzeroo. Don't invest too much emotion into a team that hates its fans.

This is exactly it.  The fans who are angry were once the same ones who believed enough to actually emotionally attach to the point of getting burned for trusting so much.  The frequent burn has now turned into anger.  They were the die hards who stuck by the team through much more thick than thin.  It’s their money that was wasted when they were the ones who received big fat middle finger after big fat middle finger from the owner.

Now they get called out when a win puts their team at 5-22 as though those same people didn’t support them through all the losing seasons.   Instead, the voice of the Sox essentially says, “We’re 5-22 now—you should have believed in us!  You lost faith and got mad after getting burned by our lies for decades on end, now look at us flying high at 5-22—we don’t need you!”

There are people here who really want the team to win more despite a majority who want to gawk at the train wreck.

It's harmless banter moreso than calling out the haters. Both sides know the team sucks but some still root for the Sox to win while others are wishing for losses.

To those still cheering for victories and the players it's hard for us to imagine calling the Sox your favorite team while wishing it all gets blown up all the time.

A decent amount of people showed up yesterday cheering the Sox on. I like those people who can disregard everything bad and treat going to a game with friends and family as entertainment . Die hards are great but less than diehard fans ( women, kids) just like having a fun time at the ballpark. Here it's like all booing all the time. Ignorance is bliss.

Seeing a 2-game winning streak is a relief. Seeing Benintendi break out and hit the ball with authority is a relief. No, they're not on their way to the World Series, now, but for those of us who follow the team for enjoyment, this team is finally playing the way we expected it to. Those who can't bear to read those sentences are also the "haters" who demand that nobody be happy until the team outpaces their moving goalposts.

All I wish for is to outlive current ownership.

A sweep?! Are the Rays playing that badly, or did the Sox find some life? Hard to say.

The Sox absolutely found some life. It’s not even a question.

The offense has been slowly showing signs of life over the last week or so
