He hasn't looked overmatched at the plate which is great but I'm a little worried about his defense. I don't like his footwork.  He makes routine plays look more difficult than they are.

I prefer it.Better than some Eeyore announcer. He's inexperienced and makes mistakes but he's got a good voice for broadcasting and certainly has embraced the rah rah role.

Yep, and for as cheesy as any of us may think it sounds, my 6 year old who loves baseball has been yelling it all day while playing.

If we want the White Sox to still exist in 30 years, excitement and attention from kids is never a bad thing.
