Give him a break, he is helping Jerry spread bullshit to the fans

He's not spreading bullshit.    He's eating it so it comes out his mouth everytime he talks

Robert is apparently ready. He was hitting a sizzling .100 with 2 hits in 20 at bats in Charlotte.

Gotta rush him up so he can play against the Cubs was probably influenced by JR constantly asking the trainers "will he be ready for the Cubs series", like it really matters anymore to us Sox fans, but JR thinks the season can be salvaged if we happen to beat the Cubs.

Quite the optimist

  • ORANGE   CHW @ CHC What looked like a "we've got room between 2 storm lines" now looks like "the main batch comes in smack dab during the game (and this is why we don't trust rain forecasts more than a few hours out from gametime). Anyways, looks ugly, scattered storms. I'm not sure if they'll be able to play, but it seems likely that a delay of some sort will be a part of whatever takes place.

Pulling out my lucky Charlotte Knights cap for this one.

The only thing that could possibly bring a small amount of joy to Sox fans this year would be beating the Cubs.   And Pedro manages the staff so we have Flexon starting the opener.   I swear the pile of crap can’t do anything right.

The Cubs should try to lift and pull everything and put us away early with Flexon fixin' to offer up some meatballs,

With the Sox luck we trail 3-2 after 5 1/2 inns and they call the game cause of lightning.

Ready to sit back, relax and strap it down!

it's going to be hilarious when we score 10 runs on Imanaga, including a 3 run pinch hit shot from The Duke.

Stone said in the pregame that Robert coming back could spark an offensive resurgence

It only makes sense that Pedro is a secret agent spy working against the Sox to sabotage whatever good is left in this org.

There is good left?

Jesus, everyone chasing. Gonna be a long night (again).

How about 3 ugly strikeouts in the 1st instead?

Imanaga should easily get double digit strikeouts. At least no hitter is gone.

Not gonna lie, I would laugh if the Sox lose 11 in a row and then beat the Cubbies :gosoxretro:

Nice seeing Luis out there at least.

I much prefer Luis Robert Jr in center versus anyone else.

Forgot he was back, was like "whoever that bum is made a nice read on the ball" then saw it was Robert. Whoops.

Whomever recommended to Hoyer that he be signed deserves a promotion.  4-years, $53 million.

Best CF since Rob Mackowiak

It would have been nice to see Robert Jr. and Pham both in the lineup, but I guess that is too much to ask for!

all according to plan, the bottom of the order is gonna get to him. what's a 1 ERA to heart, hustle and muscle?
