  • Are people really bitching about a guy not making a 0% chance throw in a meaningless game on July 2nd with a team 40 games under .500? Come on people, who gives a f***.

  • Why do we PH Pham for our catcher, with no real advantage gained? I don't understand.

Chuck and Ozzie ripping on Robert, good to hear

Nice job by Robert getting behind that ball.  Such a pathetic effort by him once again.

Don't think he had any chance of throwing him out anyway.

They must have added the post-game to MLB.tv? They would always cut it off when it started

I’m sure he wouldn’t have, but to not even try is inexcusable and in line with the effort he’s given far too much the second half of last year and this year.

I know that run probably scores but Robert just didn't even try  to set up behind the ball and get some momentum on his throw by coming in on it.

Robert and Vaughn saw their values increase tonight.

Kopech inevitable will have someone out there who still believes in his ability/potential.

Lmfao, I just found this from the start of the season. Just another reason to hate this #%^# franchise. 28/30 teams allowed the Pre and Post game shows on MLB.tv and the Sox were 1 of the 2 who didn't.

What teams have Pre/Postgame shows available in MLB.TV?

The following teams will be available for the 2024 season, check back for updates (subject to change):

  • Arizona Diamondbacks
  • Atlanta Braves
  • Baltimore Orioles
  • Boston Red Sox
  • Chicago Cubs
  • Cincinnati Reds
  • Cleveland Guardians
  • Colorado Rockies
  • Detroit Tigers
  • Houston Astros
  • Kansas City Royals
  • Los Angeles Angels
  • Los Angeles Dodgers
  • Miami Marlins
  • Milwaukee Brewers
  • Minnesota Twins
  • New York Mets
  • Oakland Athletics
  • Philadelphia Phillies
  • Pittsburgh Pirates
  • San Diego Padres
  • Seattle Mariners
  • San Francisco Giants
  • St Louis Cardinals
  • Tampa Bay Rays
  • Texas Rangers
  • Toronto Blue Jays
  • Washington Nationals

Looks like they finally caved and it's available now.

At that distance, just do the professional thing. Set up properly, and make the throw. It really is a problem that needs to be addressed with him. He catches the ball flat footed all the time.

Imagine the heat he'd be catching doing that in a playoff or World Series game.

Every player with the White Sox inevitably becomes totally unlikeable.

Burger Cease Abreu the few exceptions.

Because the only time they hustle, they get hurt

Dye had the same terrible habit.

I thank Robert for not throwing and blowing out his arm for a meaningless effort.

Yes, with the Sox luck and his injures, a blown rotator would happen.  LOL

Save the Trade Value

What does Gavin Sheets do well?

Certainly not throwing.  Two terrible throws towards home plate, two runs allowed.

I am now in the #TradeRobert camp. f*** that lazy s%*#. At least setup and make the throw. Not only for the practice because you always catch the ball flatfooted but what about the miniscule chance he trips or leaves the bag early???

Oh and already forgot Liam.  Great family.  Giolito too.

He and Moncada played much harder for Cuba.

This is just a job to clock in and out of to him.

A bit like Rendon.

He should be overseas next year.

Sheets would probably do well in Korea.

Could Robert be any more lazy on final fly ball? Little league kids give better effort!

Can't wait to hear Grifol make excuses for Robert not throwing.

That probably cost us the game.  First Lee has been hitting well enough.  Second Pham struck out.  Third you bring Maldonado late in  the game. Fourth Maldonado comes to bat in the ninth in a tied game.  Pedro is a moron.

I was wondering about that. Figured it was just something I was missing. But yea, makes perfect sense.

Not to mention if we went to extras he would have been the ghost runner
