I was thinking about Sanders. The NFL made its point in overlooking him this long. Tomorrow, the first team that needs a QB or a good backup/potential starter someday should take him. Why? Well if he goes undrafted he'll still get an offer to go to somebody's camp as a rookie free agent. So if somebody's gonna work with him at all, which will be the case if he's a free agent acquisition even, might as well draft him in case, uh, he's special.

I will say this: If I were a head coach and wasn't convinced Shadeur is the next big thing, I sure as hell wouldn't want to have to deal with him. Not saying he's a bad kid/guy, but he definitely has a HUGE ego and I simply wouldn't want to deal with him. I'd beg my GM, "You're not gonna stick me with Deion's kid are you?"

But again ... somebody's gonna sign him whether he gets drafted at all, so a team in need might as well get him drafted. He's got to be at least worthy of 4th round.

Well yeah. That's why he's dropped this far. The NFL has always been about talent. A guy who has 2 sexual assault allegations got picked 57th. If you're good enough to overcome the off-the-field stuff, people will overlook it. The league clearly thinks that Sanders is not talented enough to deal with he and his dad's entitlement.

I can't think of the last time a league collectively humbled a dude like this.

If he doesn't get picked in the 4th, I think he could fall out of the draft. If you're a head coach do you want to bother with Shedeur's online fanboys and ESPN's screaming heads (Kiper, Stephen A.) banging the table that your backup QB needs to start games all while Deion starts publicly angling for your job?

Good point about all the guys who have gotten in trouble legally. Seems to be a lot of them in sports allowed to compete.

We ended up behind a couple of runs but full picture…likely a few meaningful guys, an extra pick, and needs mostly met (except S and Edge)

Not bad. Least happy with Ozzy, reminds me of Borom.

I wouldn’t have bothered with tackle and would have grabbed a guard prospect - want a potential starter with a 2nd round pick not a Borom type swing tackle.

The Jets or Steelers have to grab him. Or maybe someone like McVay. My guess is if he is there when Dallas picks next he will go there. At this point - if were Bears I’d take him. Let him be a back up for a year with Ben Johnson and than trade him. Sanders had some flaws but he is damn accurate and accurate works in the NFL.

Unfortunately, the longer you wait on OL and DL, there are no steals to be had.

Still surprised how much Poles is banking on his offseason veteran mish-mash OL crew.

Pretty sure I already know what the weakness will be for the second straight season.  Good luck.

Not sure I understand the objection there, he acquired a bunch of legit starters. If you worry about next year, rookie lineman aren’t always a better option,

Even with LT, the idea was to get protection against Jones injury, but by time they selected, only Connelly would have been a maybe upgrade and available this year,

For anyone looking at the URL and thinking six months from now, it's six months from his Jan. 29 surgery.

While speaking with the media on Friday, Loveland said that he would be out six months from the date of his surgery. He can do most activities except for heavy lifting.

“Six months was the timetable,” Loveland said on when he could return to practice after his surgery. “We’re three out right now, and it feels great. I got full range of motion and everything. Can do really everything but just like super heavyweight. So right now we’re in a good spot running–can catch balls.”

Six months would put his return date at July 29, a little after the beginning of training camp.

Bears move down again - get a 4th rounder next year. Those are valuable when it comes to leverage to trade for other players etc. Didn’t love the LB they took but he is fast and they need to replace Sanborn.

Sanders to Cleveland.   Probably wishes he went undrafted now.

The clip of the Browns war room screams that ownership made the decision.

They look DEAD inside.

We got poles to stop drafting in round 3, now just need him to stop drafting LBs in round 4
