This is interesting.  I kind of like this theory.

hmm

1) The Bulls strategy!

2) They need to stop fucking around and just ID actual top candidates. If Ben Johnson wants the job but has to go through 3 rounds of interviews as they narrow it down to 10 finalists, it'll only bite them in the ass.

Floyd Hoiberg why not TJ Otzelberger?

That seemed kind of weird to me. I never would have thought a player would ask an opponent for a jersey.

But the main comment is right. I have a few friends that played pro sports. Whenever they made comments about not being good enough I remind them they signed the back of checks to be at the game.

They all do it now. Jersey swaps, go on each other's podcasts. I'm only 40, but it sure ain't like it used to be.

That's an old bowling tradition.

Hate to see it.......

It means they probably take a QB and not Hunter in the draft, which makes a trade up less likely in front of the Bears.  Bears need teams to believe in some of these guys and trade up so other teams don't take OL.

I can’t think of a contract that every day following aged worse after it was signed, more than Watson.  Injury, ineffectiveness, fan resentment, lawsuits, more injuries

That deal was stupid the day it was signed, and is only getting dumber in hindsight.

This doesn't even include the fact that Baker Mayfield has just gotten better as time has progressed.

Three straight NFC South titles...four counting Brady.

I was told earlier in this thread Paul DePodesta was doing a great job with the Browns 🙄

Because NFL coaches are home-based workers?

Because they work year round but aren't in season for much of it. If they can't master the simple technology would you trust them to know advanced technology?

You think NFL head coaches are proficient with technology?  They have assistants that take care of all that stuff.

I do think a NFL head coach needs to be proficient in all of the tools available. I think if you have one that is so far behind the times they can't handle a zoom interview you are starting too far behind the curve.

The Knute Rockne era is long gone. The next coach should be proficient in data analysis, advanced statistical analysis, and use every edge tech can offer.

If be more worried if the team was using a 1990s style business model of flying everyone in and meeting in person. It's a step into the 21st century.

I'm sure some are and some aren't.

I'm sure within ten years they all will be. Let's not be the last team.

Stroud doing this without Tank Dell and Stephon Diggs has been pretty impressive.

Spoke too soon haha.
