This is my problem with the 2026/27 crowd, we have maybe 1 or 2 guys on that mid-season time frame, and one of them has a significant injury red flag. Will be interesting to see what he eventually signs for. Ultimately, I think he will probably be out of the Sox range of around $5 million. Texas gave him $13 million for last season and he had a good year. I know he’s old as dirt but he keeps putting up good seasons so I doubt he takes that much of a pay cut.
