Should be 5, possibly 6.  They didn’t give Vargas one with Schultz pitching

Ole ball.

rs/ra

-10 Red Sox, Mets

-11 Cardinals

They are consistent, you have to give them that...as in consistently bad.

They way they look that 121-loss record could be in jeopardy.

Absolutely, especially once Robert is traded or hurt.

Has any team ever gone winless in Spring Training?

I agree, the 2025 White Sox could be worse than last years disaster.

Mediroth doesn’t look like a major leaguer at this point.  Much rather see Sosa at 2nd.

I think CWS jinxed Meidroth, because he looks terrible in the early going.

Six whole plate appearances and we’re already writing Meidroth off 😁

Of course, they are. Where have they improved? Catcher, Center? Starting pitching lost two or three best pitchers.  All gone.

The White Sox need dynamic athletes with 4-5 tools.

Right now, that's only Robert and Braden....jury still out on Teel and Colson.

CF improvement will last exactly how long until we have to watch Colas/Fletcher/DeLoach out there?

Great, but we also need to 2 win players all over the place.

This is where the Madrigal comps are going to come.  He always seemed like a solid bet to be a 2ish fWAR player if he could actually stay on the field 150+ games.

The comps will come not just because of his size and lack of a strong arm, but the power numbers might be fairly similar.

We'll see how those high OBP numbers hold up.

If they're going to play Rojas at 2B to give Vargas more rope to hang himself with...that blocks Meidroth and maybe even Sosa, who would seem to be the first man up due to his lack of options.

Unless they use some of these guys at DH...it would arguably be better just to DH Vargas and open up 2B, with Rojas at 3rd.

Honest question, have you seen him bat yet?

Yes, I saw his first at-bat, although not much to take from that.  I also watched videos of him batting last year when we first traded for him.  His game is taking pitches and making contact…what have you seen so far that makes you think those skills won’t translate to the majors?

Wilson's velo is up and he looks much more effective for it.

I hope it lasts.  He was a decent middle reliever with the Padres and he'd be a real help if he'd get back to that form.  He'd also be peddlable.
