Bergolla hit .300 in A and A+ combined last year . No HR power . 5'9" 160.

Thats the kind of profile that hits a wall in Birm but hope he can at least add some Xb power not to end up as a utility guy.

I saw the offensive side of the roster as:

C - Lee/Thaiss
1B - Vaughn
2B - Rojas
3B - Vargas
SS - Monty, or Amaya if he's unable
LF - Taylor
CF - Robert
RF - Tauchman
DH - Drury
Bench - Sosa, Fletcher, Slater

If Taylor gets cut, I'm guessing it's Colas or Baldwin. Meidroth doesn't seem to be crushing Amaya, and Baldwin just isn't getting the reps.

He won't be cut before Spring Training. I think his only purpose is to give Robert a breather in CF and not kill our defense.

Sosa needs to be playing if they have no options to make a decision on him.

A's finding some key hitters in Rooker and Andujar from other teams...Butler Nick Kurtz Gelof Wilson internally.

Langeliers another important player.

Taylor guaranteed to make roster practically.

Fletcher needs to find himself offensively playing everyday at Charlotte.

He may not though.Had a pretty seamless transition from A to A+. Not nearly as many games played but still hit .316 in 76 AB .Only 2 of his 24 hits though we're for extra bases 2 triples).

He's definitely "Wally Pipping" Amaya today...15 seconds of fame in camp.

Hard to imagine Taylor getting cut as he's guaranteed money. Hopefully he'll open his eyes and swing the rest of ST. Maybe he should get his eyes checked.

I would include Sosa somewhere in the offensive lineup.

Sosa one of top 2-3 hitters all spring.

Have to keep Taylor to back up Robert's upcoming trade...just don't think they trust Fletcher any longer.

Looking like Sheets might make Padres.  .200 3 homers .793

Or JD Martinez will delay pickleball stardom dream for one more year.

Jose Iglesias just signed minor league deal...surprised Getz didn't bite on that one to improve upon Amaya.

Also nice to see Josh Rojas with two stolen bases today.

Vargas with yet another walk.

Then an Omar Narvaez single.  Also saved a run with a great stop last inning.

Taylor with three k's on the day now.

Teel with a huge double.

Outfielder hurt.

Opposite drive to the wall...runners second and third.

CWS 5-11, SD 4-12

Ahead of 9-20 pace last spring, just barely.

Teel with another spring bomb.

Single rbi double two run Homer for Teel.  Triple shy of the cycle.

Three homers counting Sasaki blast haha.

Homer to the opposite field most impressive aspect.

Bring Teel and Quero north.

That's just not going to happen.

One would ride the bench unless the other was DH/1B and Korey Lee has been solid this spring.

Even Narvaez has done well today.

Rojas, Amaya, Taylor, Tauchman, Drury, Slater seems a bit much of the has-been/never-was veteran demographic.
Those guys aren't particularly peddleable, even with good seasons, either.

One guy I'm really hoping has a big start is Vaughn....now, he could bring back something, if he rakes for a couple of months.

Teel looks like he'll be paying Chicago a visit by late Spring.
